Controls Engineer
Summary: Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various industrial processes. Expertise in control systems, programming, and troubleshooting will be crucial in optimizing production processes and enhancing overall system performance.
Responsibilities:
| · Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. |
| · Collaborate with project teams to define control system requirements and specifications. |
| · Program and configure control systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. |
| · Conduct thorough testing and debugging of control systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions. |
| · Collaborate with engineering to integrate control systems with overall machine design. |
| · Monitor and analyze control system performance data, identify areas for improvement, and proposing appropriate solutions. |
| · Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving control system-related issues. |
| · Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in control systems technology, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, control systems engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in designing, programming, and implementing control systems for industrial processes.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar), HMI design, and SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging control systems, with a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to control system design and safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
